Also, I'm not sure if you are aware of this website but, VirusTotal is a very good website for people who want to check if a link or file is dodgy, it scans files and websites with over 60 paid antivirus softwares (such as Bit Defender, Webroot, ESET, F-Secure and more).
Also, I would recommend using uBlock Origin (and a few other privacy/security extensions) instead of using an extension from your antivirus or using a web browser created by your antivirus. I would recommend getting a good adblocker (they don't just block ads you know, they block malicious content too) to avoid the spam, specifically uBlock Origin, it is open-source on GitHub, widely recommended by privacy and security specialists alike, low on CPU and RAM use, and it is probably better than an antivirus when on a web browser.
